About the tour

The Chile Poker Tour 2011 was a truly memorable competition, which is why we feel that it deserves to be immortalised on its own website. For months, Crazy Vegas members competed in online Poker games to win one of the coveted spots in the Tour itself, which was hosted by a number of the most prestigious and fun Chilean casinos, including the fabulous The Monticello Grand Casino and Entertainment World. The tournament brought together some well-known names and revealed some very promising new players including Chile Poker Tour champion Wendy Watson, bluff master Percy Blakeney, Welsh Poker writer Andrew Ffolkes, 2009 EPT Poker first prize winner Christopher Rodriguez and the savvy newcomer Lacey Thornfiled. It was a close game there at the end: the unforgettable finale was a test in strategy, guile and endurance as Ms Watson faced off against Mr Blakeney.

Great game, exotic setting, huge cash prize – what more can a Poker player ask for?

And the prize pool was certainly huge: totalling to $14,752, 896 with a first prize of $3, 140, 760, it more than holds its own among the world’s most prestigious tournaments. Despite the excitement and high tension, the tour was also an excuse to make some great new friends and lasting memories.

To help you get into the Poker spirit or better understand the game we have provided a handy Poker section, which should make everything clear as day.
